Just bought the first part of a system for a new house, a Sonos Play3. Compared the Play3 and Play5 at a home show and thought we could hear more instrumentation with the lower base of the Play3. Great sound and combined with ConnectAmp will play from many sound sources. Without the amp, it will play any of our music, or Internet radio stations. Controlled from our iPad, iPhone or computer, or android device, my wife changes stations or music with ease.
Sonos uses our network, and the sends signals wirelessly from its proprietary distribut
Really good sound for the size.
A wonderful gadget from sonos, I have 2 pieces in the living room playing on the right ok. A little weak if you want to "party play" but excellent for some background music or some audio books while lying on the couch and looking out at the rain. Uses Big Brother 5 in the kitchen and also has ZP120 which takes care of the speakers on the patio. I also bought the remote CR200 which is absolutely not needed then you never know where to put it and in addition the battery life is rejected given the price, nah, use your iphone / ipad / android instead and save 3000. The bridge BR100 is a great product if you do not want the first device connected to your router / modem.
Today 120208 supplemented with an additional 1 st Play3 to have in the kitchen, so now play 5 standing in the kitchen today to move to the living room.
Bought a Sonos Play: 1 Now when you get a year with Deezer purchase, has a Play: 3 previously. I feel a big difference in Play: 1 and the Play: 3, PLAY: 3 plays noticeably better as you stand in two minds between 1 and 3 select 3! It's worth the extra few dollars.
