My first flash so I have no other references thereof tian.
Smooth small flash. Much better than the built in flash. Can be angled up towards the ceiling for softer light. Is always in the camera bag and I use it more than my 580EX. Recommended.
Nice little flash for those who want something better than the built-in camera flash. Sorry, you can NOT spin / turn his head sideways (to send the flash to the ceiling in portrait mode, for example). However, you can tilt your head (turn up), so it can send the flash at the ceiling in landscape mode. For those who want to be creative and explore what you can do with flash, this is not a good product, as the only possibility for manual settings is through the camera's menus, and so it is really complicated to experiment with the brightness of the flash. Conclusion: Because what the flash is designed for making it really his job. You simply put the flash on the camera and let the automatic do the rest. Had it only been spinning the flash head had received 9/10. Ps. @ SirMacke. AF-assist works great for me.
