Good sound and features, a good card for the default user. Better than integrated.
Very affordable and good sound card. Not to compare with the integrated sound card on motherboards. There IS a difference! Clearer, fuller and more detail of the sound. Tested this with CDs, Spotify, Mumble (VOIP), and games. I'm no audiophile so I'm not the right person to be compared with the sharpest cards, but there is a difference compared to the integrated sound card, it is no doubt. If you take into account what you get for the money it's really unbeatable. + Built-in headset amplifier (which was the reason I chose DGX front Xonar DSX) makes it capable of driving such as Sennheiser PC360 without problems. + PCI-Express makes it will live on to the next build also Many have complained about the software, but after clicking around a bit I do not think that there was any difficulty finding what I was looking for. Run to the primary audio via the amplifier and speaker, I would have chosen the sharper and more than a 100-lap expensive Xonar DSX, but just for headsets, this card is spot on. 10 points for unbeatable value for money!
Clear improvement. Cleaner sound. More comfortable for the ears. Worth its 299 kr which I paid. Run with Uni Xonar driver (Low DPC latency) that was mentioned earlier, it has worked without problems. Gets 9 out of 10. Affordable short to begin with.
